As part of the Global Operations division, the Communications & Marketing team helps Woven by Toyota’s story resonate by bringing it to life in ways that drive understanding and connection. Our goal is to foster real engagement with who we are, what we’re building, and why it matters. Both inside the company and out.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for a thoughtful, creative communicator to activate and elevate our employer brand across key candidate touchpoints. You might be a tech marketer passionate about people, or a tech recruiter drawn to storytelling and brand. Either way, you bring a strategic mindset, a deep curiosity about what motivates talent, and a strong instinct for creating and managing content, platforms and experiences that connect our culture and mission with the exceptional people we hope to hire.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate across Talent Acquisition, Product, and Comms & Marketing to define who we are, what we offer, and why it’s meaningful
- Ideate and deliver standout Employer Brand content that resonates with engineering talent and drives qualified applications across our key channels and touchpoints
- Strategize and execute holistic campaigns and experiences (from digital to in-person) that boost awareness, reputation, and reach among key engineering audiences
- Build brand moments from within, turning key employee experiences into external-facing campaigns that showcase who we are and why we’re a great place to work
- Manage and improve high-visibility shop-window platforms like our careers site, LinkedIn Life, Glassdoor, OpenWork and others to amplify a coherent employer brand
- Track brand health, campaign performance, and candidate perceptions to refine our narrative and increase impact
- Lay the groundwork for future employer brand awards and recognition by building a strong foundation of results and reputation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-6 years in employer branding, brand marketing, communications, or a related field (in-house or agency-side)
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to understand and turn complex technical topics into clear, compelling stories that resonate with candidates
- A strong collaborator who has experience partnering with TA and Product teams to bridge business needs with authentic, engaging employer brand content
- Experience leading cross-functional creative campaigns and building content strategies
- A global mindset and deep curiosity about culture, brand, and the future of work
- Comfort working in fast-paced, cross-cultural environments with a mix of tech and non-tech stakeholders
- Native JP with business proficiency EN or Native EN with business proficiency JP
NICE TO HAVES
- Prior experience collaborating with or working inside a Talent Acquisition team
- Familiarity with creative tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe CC) or content management platforms (e.g. Contentful, Notion)
- Ability to localize global brand strategies for a Japanese audience, and vice versa
