TEAM
Our mission is to advance automated driving technology through environmental development using RapidControlPrototyping for fast development cycles. To be number one in the automated driving industry requires agile software and hardware development. To improve the speed and quality of software development, an efficient and flexible development environment that combines actual vehicles and simulations is necessary. The App Tool Chain team uses an agile development methodology to develop the development environment, and to test the autonomous driving software. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our mission is to provide an advanced and efficient development and evaluation environment for the development of autonomous driving systems. By combining actual vehicles and simulations, we consistently achieve a high degree of freedom while maintaining a high degree of accuracy from the beginning to the end of a project and accelerate daily software development. To develop the vehicle evaluation environment, we are looking for someone who has the skills necessary to build the vehicle evaluation environment, including designing the mounting of various measurement devices and designing the vehicle's fail-safe mechanism for conducting tests. Past work experience includes: those who have communicated with many stakeholders and selected equipment based on their needs; those who have developed medium-sized or larger products while controlling outsourcing; those who have experience in mounting design and jig design for vehicle-mounted components such as measuring and computing equipment; those who have knowledge of thermal and stress calculation Experience in CAE and design of automotive power supply and wiring is desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Development and practical application of high-speed development environment technology that integrates actual vehicles and simulation
    • Selection of measuring and computing devices, installation in actual vehicles and design of associated jigs
    • Design/modification of power supplies and circuit design of in-vehicle devices
    • Design of wiring between sensors and in-vehicle devices and CAN bus design
    • Analysis work such as thermal and stress calculations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Over 3 years of experience working in a team in a medium or larger product development project
    • Over 3 years of experience in CAD design of small components
    • Knowledge of strength and thermal/stress calculations and screw fastening calculations
    • Communication ability both in English and Japanese

NICE TO HAVES

    • Experience in vehicle modification
    • Practical experience in on-board component design
    • Experience in strength and thermal stress calculations using CAE
    • Experience in circuit board design
    • Must be able to study mounting and design mounted components using CAD
    • Familiarity with vehicle power supply and wiring, and ability to design power supply and wiring
    • General knowledge of CAN communication
    • Fluent Japanese/English reading and writing
