TEAM
The Chief Engineer Office has global responsibility for the definition of development processes and standards, management of system engineering, definition and modeling of system and software architecture, adherence to functional safety standards. Such responsibility is manifested by close cooperation with all the development teams so that products are delivered with the desired quality, cost and timeliness. The team captures the needs of the customer and distills them into solutions, all team members are therefore proactively contributing to improve our platform and to share their knowledge.

You will report to the team lead of the systems engineering team, and this role's workplace type is hybrid - you will work in the office at least 3 days per week.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for systems engineers for complex systems development, who are able to architect Arene systems and software for mobility where safety and security are critical components, using a systems approach and model-based systems engineering methodology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Solve cross-functional problems and challenges with systems engineering
    • Define system architectures based on ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 and ISO/IEC/IEEE 420x0 series, using model-based systems engineering methodology
    • Build the Arene system model in SysML
    • Create consistent requirements, architectures, and V&V models
    • Perform model-based product line engineering (MBPLE)
    • Enable a systems engineering culture in the Arene development based on the solid professionalism and sincerity

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Master's degree in systems engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience
    • 5+ years of experience as a development engineer in all phases of system life cycle for real-time systems
    • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with analyzing customer requirements and proposing solutions, preparing system requirement specifications, system design documents, and software requirement specifications for the development of multiple products
    • 3+ years of MBSE development experience with SysML v1 including model-based simulations with SysML v1 and at least 1 year experience of CATIA Magic (Cameo System Modeler, No Magic)
    • INCOSE SEP certification (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP) or equivalent knowledge and experience
    • English language proficiency

NICE TO HAVES:

    • Knowledge and experience of state-of-the-art modeling technology such as SysML v2, UAF, and so on
    • Experience of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and so on
    • Japanese language proficiency
