TEAM
Team members of the Chief Engineer Office are expected to exemplify what it means to be a highly-effective cross-functional individual contributor. They are expected to be the go-to people for their area of specialization by having built respect and trust within Woven. Team members' work is expected to have multiplicative effects on the work of other teams within Arene, while cutting across organizational boundaries and ensuring that Woven delivers the right thing, with high quality, on time, at the right cost.
You will report to the Head of Arene Architecture, and this role's workplace type is hybrid - you will work in the office at least 3 days per week.

We are looking for an accomplished expert in the field of onboard networks that can at the same time contribute to tactical solutions while envisioning, defining and supporting innovation.
 
As an expert you are able to abstract the given problem and to create solutions that link logical and physical architectures across the hardware and software domains.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Onboard Network Architect you'll be responsible for developing comprehensive network strategies to support vehicle communication, diagnostics, telematics, and software updates. You'll also drive innovation and recommend emerging technologies to enhance vehicle network capabilities and future-proof our systems. Along with our team of architects you'll lead the design and integration of advanced communication protocols, ensuring compatibility, scalability, and security.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
・Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
・10 years experience in architecting and designing onboard vehicle networks or aircraft communication systems
・Mastering the following standards, protocols, and principles:
- Physical onboard network architectures
- Communication protocols
- Real time data distribution, quality of service, latency, deter
- DDS (Data Distribution Service)
- TSN (Time Sensitive Networking) - IEEE 802.1q
- Communication Partitioning
- Virtual Domains (IEEE 802.1q, Autosar, ARINC664)
- BroadR-Reach networking
- CAN/CAN FD or ARINC 429
- Real time operating systems
- Network stacks
・C, C++ programming
・Strong knowledge of network security principles and practices in the automotive industry
・Familiarity with diagnostics, telematics, software updates, and onboard systems
・Experience in the transportation industry (avionics and/or automotive)

NICE TO HAVES:

    • Experience with SW architecture modeling
    • Experience with new product introduction
    • Experience with requirement management and tools (e.g. Jama)
