As a mobility of goods, our project is going to provide innovative logistics services in Woven City, which is located in Susono, Shizuoka, by using delivery robots, smart devices and simulation technology. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a professional service delivery manager who has a lot of experience for service improvement with knowledge about both operation and product in Woven City. We expect you not only to operate with passion for the service but also to proactively share the knowledge and experience which you gain through your operations with the development side, and work with them to improve the service to make it even better. In addition, it is very important to collect feedback from end-users by operating new various services which we will develop in the future. The scope of work includes facilitating the development and improvement of an automated delivery infrastructure in the city for the new service development team, and proposing a system that will enable the new service development team to provide services quickly. If you want to tackle the new challenge of developing an innovative service that combines hardware and software, let's make history together.

Initially, you will participate as a candidate to lead a small team of less than 10 people, but depending on the direction of service development and business and your own motivation and ability, you will have the opportunity to take on even bigger challenges, such as managing a larger team or leading cross-sectional development for multiple value-added services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead a small team (10 or less) of diverse members to drive product improvements
    • Manage and improve service operation costs and metrics
    • Manage functional development through discussions with development team based on issues and improvements from onsite operations
    • Lead the proactive adoption and validation of new features and services
    • Support the implementing of operations necessary to provide new services based on both technical and operational knowledge of the product

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • 10+ years of experience in operating and improving service related to logistics, supply chain or customer support
    • 3+ years of experience in developing service operations for new business development
    • 3+ years of experience in working for customers through difficult communication
    • Business level English and Japanese
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and independent thinking (the ability to enjoy a situation even when standards and norms are not clearly defined, and to move forward in a positive manner)
    • A sense of balance between the ability to steadily move things forward based on a solid plan and the ability to work quickly

NICE TO HAVES

    • Hands-on experience in launching a related to new service robot business
    • Hands-on experience in developing new product and service which is related to logistics or mobility
    • Hands-on experience in validating and improving service operation based on metrics
    • Hands-on experience in designing, launching, maintaining and improving service operations involving hardware
