The Role

Wpromote is looking for a Senior Manager to join our growing Amazon & Marketplace team. As an end-to-end service, our team manages all aspects of our clients’ Amazon & Marketplace business to help them succeed and hit their goals. The role is very dynamic and this person must be able to work efficiently across multiple clients simultaneously.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $80,000 - $100,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.

This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.

*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

You Will Be

    • Helping the clients we work with launch or grow their Amazon and Walmart paid media efforts.
    • Designing, implementing and managing ad spend across Amazon and Walmart campaigns, while having a full grasp of how different ad types work together to further our client’s goals. 
    • Monitoring daily trends, opportunities, and spend across multiple brands.
    • Proactively communicating with clients about account health, ad performance, sales, best practices, potential opportunities and developing action plans to improve results.
    • Working in a dynamic, time-intensive environment where competing priorities are commonplace. Previous agency experience preferred. 
    • Closely monitoring competitors and category trends.
    • Auditing prospective Amazon accounts and identifying areas for improvement to assist in the sales process.
    • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of new or emerging trends within Amazon and other marketplaces.
    • Tasked with some special projects as needed

You Must Have

    • 3+ years of experience consulting on or directly managing Amazon Advertising accounts OR 5+ years paid search experience (Google, Bing, etc.)
    • Great communication skills both written and oral, with a strong attention to detail.
    • Great organization, the ability to balance client timelines and business needs, across multiple clients.
    • The ability to manage client expectations and priorities.
    • Experience presenting to senior-level client contacts during Monthly executive summaries or QBRs. 
    • A deep understanding of paid search, which includes keyword research, campaign buildouts, bid optimizations, reporting, and knowledge of the different ad types.
    • Knowledge about how Amazon marketing and performance affects the purchase funnel.

Nice To Have

    • Experience with 3p campaign management providers (i.e. Pacvue, Skai, CommerceIQ, Perpetua, Stackline).
    • Experience consulting on or directly managing ADSP campaigns.
    • Experience working with or at a brand with $2M+ in annual Amazon sales.
    • Experience with areas of Amazon outside of paid media (content, logistics, catalog management, etc.).
    • Experience consulting on or directly managing  ecommerce marketplaces outside of Amazon and Walmart.
    • Experience consulting on or directly managing campaigns via Criteo.
    • The ability to explain nuances of full-funnel marketplace strategy clearly and concisely.
