World Relief seeks a Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) Program Specialist. The Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) Specialist is responsible for managing the provision of services to assist newly arrived refugee clients to attain self-sufficiency short-term cash assistance and referrals to employment services. Specifically, the Refugee Cash Assistance Specialist ensures services related to the administration of Refugee Cash Assistance services and with screening, enrollment, monthly cash assistance, and follow-up services. This role will be based in the Fort Worth office.

Role & Responsibilities

    • Conduct intake, assessment, and enrollment of clients into Refugee Cash Assistance
    • Ensure monthly compliance of program participants, and distribute checks
    • Verify continued eligibility of enrolled clients through monthly income verifications
    • Coordinate with staff of other WR programs for RCA enrollment of eligible clients
    • Reconcile monthly RCA payment with finance staff and database
    • Administering monthly cash assistance payments and tracking expenses
    • Refer RCA clients to Social Adjustment Services, and other World Relief programs as appropriate
    • Ensure case files and reports are maintained in accordance with grant requirements
    • Other duties as requested

    • Fluent in another language preferred, but not required (Spanish, Dari, Arabic Swahili)
    • Advanced competency in the use of Microsoft Office

Requirements

$20 - $22 an hour
Commensurate with experience
