About the Role:
The Director of Sales is a key member of the leadership team responsible for devising and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. As a two-sided marketplace, your core objectives are to educate, consult and advise Watch buyers and sellers on timepieces and services, whilst providing an elevated experience that is uniquely Wristcheck. 

You will own one of our most important revenue channels, and formulate strategies to enhance the retail experience and brand development to build a seamless offline-online experience. We are looking for experienced leaders eager to raise the bar in everything they do. You are a charismatic salesperson with proven experience working with luxury brands, and bring a passion for people, watches and the stories they convey.

What you’ll be doing:

    • Sales. Be accountable for sales targets across the team. Identify roadblocks and review solutions with frontline managers to maximize productivity 
    • Supply. Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing dealers, while identifying and developing new dealer partners
    • Community Growth. With sensitivity to market dynamics, you will formulate innovative medium- to long-term commercial strategies to expand market presence and identify new business opportunities 
    • People Leadership. Manage a sales team, leading with empathy and demonstrating a “people first” mentality. Mentor, coach, train and motivate to drive engagement and an excitement to hit and exceed targets 
    • Continuous optimization. Evaluate effectiveness of activities and establish a continuous improvement process
    • Reporting. Track KPI’s and report team performance in weekly and monthly syncs with stakeholders. Develop plans to address performance gaps 
    • Analytics. Utilize data to understand the sales journey and drive changes to improve customer satisfaction. Monitor and analyze dealer channel performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to increase sales 
    • Cross Collaboration. Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to create promotional materials, sales tools, and marketing campaigns that support sales growth. Work closely with the customer service and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and after-sales support
    • Best practices. Apply luxury best practices, train and develop the team to maintain a high standard. Adapt to market and consumer trends and stay abreast of competitor activities

What you’ll bring:

    • 8+ years of experience in luxury sales, with at least 5 years in the Watch industry and 3+ years building and managing high performing teams 
    • An expert in watches and watch culture with strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behaviour 
    • Proven track record of success in sales and leadership, taking ownership and driving results in a fast-paced, iterative environment 
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to balance sales targets with customer experiences that adhere to longer-term brand and experience standards
    • An absolute team player with a “no task is too small or too large” mentality 
    • Natural leader that is approachable, a good listener and strives to mentor and develop their team to reach their full potential
    • You have a keen eye for detail and an exceptionally high bar for accuracy and quality. Similarly you hold your team to that level of standard
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and you can clearly and effectively communicate with senior stakeholders
