About the Role:
Wristcheck is growing! Headquartered in Hong Kong, we're searching for watch enthusiasts excited to immerse themselves in a new horological universe. As a Sales Lead at Wristcheck, you’ll be the face of what we represent: a new way for people to buy and sell watches. You’ll be responsible for building relationships with customers, advising, selling and consigning watches, all whilst delivering exceptional, high-touch experiences that exceed our clients expectations.
This is a full time role based in the US with the potential to relocate to our vibrant home city of Hong Kong. You'll gain exposure to the world of startups and building omnichannel experiences from the ground up. What you'll be doing:
- Share your passion for watches! You’ll act as advisor and educator to help our customers find their next prized possession. As a keen listener, you’ll understand the motivations, likes and dislikes of our customers in order to recommend suitable timepieces.
- Advise sellers with your strong knowledge of the pre-owned market. Walk them through our consignment process, pre-empt and answer any questions they have to ensure a seamless experience.
- Introduce Wristcheck services, and the benefits and USPs of buying or selling through our platform.
- Consistently hit and/or exceed monthly sales targets to contribute to overall team success.
- Build your book of clients, nurture and grow your relationships to facilitate everyone in their watch buying / collecting journey.
- Build the best customer experience, leveraging our CRM system to provide personalised experiences.
- Stay on top of the latest developments in the watch industry, including market prices, historical pricing and market conditions.
- Be a Wristcheck ambassador and represent our core values inside and outside of the workplace.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of luxury sales experience, ideally in a similar role in a retail environment in the secondary watch market.
- A high level of professionalism and excellent customer service. You enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life, and have a natural ability to build rapport with entrepreneurs, executives and professionals from all industries.
- Open to potential relocation to Hong Kong.
- A watch enthusiast through and through who loves sharing their passion with others.
- Creative thinker, always finding new ways to push the bar and solve problems.
- You have a strong network in NYC and are well connected with clients and sellers alike. An existing network in Asia is ideal, but not required.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter. Fast paced environments give you energy!
- A great team player that is also able to work independently.
- Naturally organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
