Leading a development team of 15-20 FTE’s focused on storing and managing system SSR data using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. 

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Capabilities

    • Developing and implementing complex solutions utilizing AWS native technologies
    • Ensuring the development team stays on schedule and is able to meet programmatic milestones
    • Represents the team at customer meetings, TEMs and contributes to the team agile planning ceremonies
    • Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
    • Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
    • Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
    • Agile development and delivery of software
    • Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

    • TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
    • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education- 15 years of relevant experience Master’s degree plus 13 years of relevant experience.
    • An Associate’s degree plus 17 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 19 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position

Required Technical Skills

    • Java, Spring boot or python
    • OpenSearch and ElasticSearch
    • Microservice architectures
    • CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, , Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker, Ansible
    • Database : NoSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design
    • OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
    • Test frameworks and automation to include Cyprus and Cucumber
    • Previous team leadership experience is desired but not required.
    • Knowledge of UTT or targeting is desired

$98.14 - $132.89 an hour
Pay Range: $98.14 - $132.89 per hour*
Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
