Perform traditional systems engineering functions, including performing high-level system design, specify system/component performance and interface requirements and develop installation, integration and acceptance test plans.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities
- Provide Systems Administration support for mission operations in support of Defensive Cybersecurity.
- Support operator laptop builds and software installation and configurations.
- Support the Cyber Range and Lab environments by providing systems administration and automation in support of operator training, mimicking customer systems, and prototype development.
- Develop scripts to automate the initialization and maintenance of environments
- Be part of a team developing innovative solutions to improve mission capabilities.
- Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated fast-paced environment using leading technologies.
- Provide mentorship to other team members and be open to learning to techniques and tools from other team members.
- Leverage skills to look for areas for process improvement and suggest solutions.
- This position's primary support is to Blue Team missions with opportunities to support Red, Hunt and JCMA missions as required.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- A Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
- Degree must be in either (1) professional Engineering, (2) Physics or Astronomy from an accredited college or (3) a relevant professional technical field (e.g. chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, geology).

- Cybersecurity experience is a plus (Systems Vulnerability Analysis, Adversary Emulation)
- Experience creating SOPs and documenting installation instructions

$55.72 - $137.86 an hour
Pay Range: $55.72 - $137.86 per hour*
