CNO Analyst/Programmer 2

Individual(s) assigned to this category shall be responsible primarily for developing applications software for small to highly complex computer systems or portions of large integrated systems. The candidate shall translate detailed designs into computer software, prepare detailed flowcharts, develop code, and document, and test software. Duties may include creating or modifying administrative scientific, or system software on centralized and distributed systems and finding/fixing software defects in existing code. Duties may also include software test design, test data acquisition and analysis, and test result analysis and reporting.

Capabilities

    • Lead software design and development of tools and/or end-to-end data flow
    • Provide/author documentation, lead and participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews as prescribed by software development procedures and processes
    • Provide/author and participate in technical presentations

Required Qualifications

    • TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph
    • Minimum 6 years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
    • Minimum 5 years of experience developing in Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments and/or UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments
    • Minimum 4 years of experience with programming CNO tools and techniques, 2 of which were for the US Government
    • Minimum 2 years in network sockets programming including developing packet-level programs using expert understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols

Required Technical Skills

    • Thorough C/C++ Development skills
    • Experience with Networks
    • Experience with IPv4 Protocol and Networking
    • Can work well with a TEAM
    • Experience with Python
