Sales Account Managers are responsible for, but not limited to executing sales strategy, initiating contact with existing and potential customers, identifying needs and selling appropriate products to meet those needs.  Ensure a smooth sales process by being prepared, organized, educated on our products and the industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage assigned accounts within a 300-mile radius of Santa Cruz.
    • Weekly travel to Modesto, Merced, Mammoth Lakes, Vasalia, King City, and Monterey
    • Call prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationship
    • Increase sales in respective accounts
    • Prepare sales information for customers
    • Establish buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts
    • Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment 
    • Marketing Events
    • Attending events, partnerships and promotional opportunities 
    • Represent, promote, and sell 
    • Educating customers and consumers about the brand along with new and existing products
    • Deliver product as needed
    • Sales Data Analysis
    • Analyze product and sales data monthly to find opportunities for growth while also following market trends 
    • Communicate, needs, trends, etc. to Sales Manager
    • Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs
    • Coordinates and leads sales meetings
    • Keeps informed of competitor products, services and other general information of internal interest
    • Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining sales and assisting team in attaining new accounts
    • Own accounts receivable by partnering with accounts on invoices coming due, and those which are past due

Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication skills 
    • Highly motivated and results driven 
    • Possess high attention to detail, prioritization, time management and organizational skills with a positive, goal orientated attitude
    • Problem solver that thrives under pressure in a fast pace environment 
    • Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division 
    • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs 
    • To be successful in this role candidate must be both a hunter and a farmer
    • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent 
    • Must be willing to submit to a background check
    • Must be 21 years old or older
    • Valid Driver’s License (required)

Compensation:

    • As an exempt employee, you'll receive a salary plus commission, PTO and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
