What will you do?
As one of X1's first Engineering Leaders, you will drive the delivery, execution and scaling of the Card Product teams. The Card Product group owns the full stack of all of X1’s innovative products and features. Their blazing-fast implementation capability is a key differentiator for X1’s growth and innovation.

You will lead your teams to build game-changing features and products that have never been seen before on a credit card. You will also drive product engineering to launch a suite of new credit cards.

An elite engineering team with alumni from Affirm, Stripe, Google, Pinterest, Y Combinator, Stanford, MIT, and more.

What will you work on?
- Manage a team of full-stack product engineers that deliver blazing-fast and high-quality features.
- Guide key technical decisions for new product initiatives, and serve as a key partner who can deeply influence the product roadmap
- Prioritize and allocate your engineers to achieve outstanding rapid product delivery and superb team development.
- Own your org's delivery and execution excellence against tight timelines while encouraging creativity.
- Identify and drive cross-product technical opportunities with force-multiplier potential.
- Work closely with our founders, engineering leaders, and the product and design teams to continue building the smartest credit card the world has ever seen.

Who are you?
- You have high standards – you care about doing things well, and drive yourself and your team to bring quality and consistency to both code and product, without compromising velocity.
- Strong decision-making around tradeoffs and complexities under time pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to absorb multiple parallel workstreams, identify commonalities, and drive specifications through delivery.
- No less than 2 years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
- You are energized by getting everyone on your team to do their best work.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals: in addition to having an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, you love the art of creation through code.
- Experience developing, or leading development, across a broad range of products.
- Hungry to grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that will challenge you to always bring your best.
- While not required, prior experience working with world-class consumer product engineering teams is a plus.
