We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Production Engineer with hands-on experience in the assembly and manufacturing of industrial spray paint booths and air filtration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical assembly, fabrication, interpretation of technical drawings, and SolidWorks design review to ensure production accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and execute the assembly of spray booths, air handling units, filters, and exhaust systems as per design specifications.
    • Interpret and validate 2D/3D mechanical drawings and BOMs created in SolidWorks and ensure they are accurately followed during production.
    • Plan and schedule production tasks based on project timelines and resource availability.
    • Coordinate with the design team to resolve drawing errors, technical mismatches, or feasibility concerns during the manufacturing phase.
    • Conduct quality checks on incoming fabricated parts, welded assemblies, filters, and FRP/FRL panels.
    • Ensure proper fit-up, alignment, sealing, insulation, and testing of air flow systems and ventilation units.
    • Monitor usage of consumables, tools, and resources to minimize waste and improve process efficiency.
    • Maintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company safety and 5S standards.
    • Support procurement and inventory teams for material requisitions based on production needs.
    • Train assembly technicians on standard procedures, troubleshooting, and new product rollouts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.
    • 3–6 years of experience in production/assembly of spray booths or industrial filtration equipment.
    • Proficient in SolidWorks (for reading and reviewing assemblies, part drawings, and exploded views).
    • Strong knowledge of fans, filters, motors, insulation, and other mechanical components.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and exploded assembly diagrams.
    • Practical knowledge of fabrication techniques, basic welding, panel alignment, and leak testing.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards, preventive maintenance, and quality checks.

Preferred Experience (Bonus):

    • Experience in paint booth airflow testing, CFM validation, or VOC compliance.
    • Understanding of explosion-proof systems and ATEX compliance in spray environments.
    • Familiar with production tracking tools, and documentation control.
