How you’ll make an impact

This is an exciting position inside the HUB, Xero’s internal creative and production department which sits inside the wider Brand and Marketing function. As a Digital Designer in the Global Brand & Community team,  you will play a critical role in maintaining and elevating our brand’s visual identity across multiple channels. You will focus on the development and delivery of high-quality, production-ready assets that drive differentiation and memorability for our community of Partners, Ecosystem, Investors, and Xeros.

What you’ll do

    • Creative – You’ll be creating, optimising, and maintaining production-ready assets across digital and print platforms in alignment with brand guidelines. You’ll ensure that all assets are scalable, accessible, and ready for deployment, whether through digital channels, print, or event experiences.    
    • Craft –   You’re well versed in how to create high standard production ready assets in alignment with brand guidelines. You have an eye on how to make things scalable, will be adept in creating templates and ensuring our content is diverse, inclusive and accessible.
    • Collaborate – You’ll need to work collaboratively across globally dispersed teams. You’ll have a role in maintaining and extending excellent relationships with Xero colleagues throughout the organisation. You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to clearly present your ideas and rationale in conversations with others, and through lo-fi / hi-fi prototypes, storyboards, and user stories
    • Make us better –  You’ll contribute to improving our processes by driving efficiency, keeping up to date with the latest design technologies, and applying this knowledge to enhance our production workflows.

What you’ll bring with you

    • Confidence in bringing your ideas to life with Adobe Creative Cloud products (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
    • Experience in brand and campaign design in both print and digital formats
    • Experience in a design/advertising agency or in-house creative team (desirable)
    • Knowledge of keynote, AEM, Figma and Canva would be a bonus
    • A great work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to collaborate and excel in a team environment with producers, copywriters, designers, and internal clients
    • A creative, innovative and results focused approach
    • An excellent communicator and problem solver who can take a logical, analytical and user-focused approach
