The Role:

 As a Senior Marketing Analyst, working as part of the AU Marketing team at Xero, you will have the opportunity to be a key leader in the provision of data analytics and a trusted advisor to marketing leadership, bringing predictive and prescriptive insights to the business in order to drive better decision making across all of marketing. 

You’ll do this by consulting to inform Go to market and marketing strategy,  supporting commercial decisions, and advising on the best way to meet business objectives using data-driven decision making. From a tactical perspective, you’ll contribute innovative ideas to projects, providing advice on their planning and execution.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

You will have the opportunity to:

Scope requirements with stakeholders to understand business problems and desired outcomes;
Collate campaign results and present to key stakeholders within the business, delivering insights back through storytelling, along with recommendations for future testing and success;
Design and build journeys based on real-time customer behaviour and product usage;
Plan and execute a range of personalised multi-step, automated marketing campaigns based on  complex SQL queries and relational data decision splits;
Conduct sophisticated data analysis using appropriate quantitative and qualitative methodologies;
Work as a Salesforce CRM (SFDC) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud power user;
Manipulate, cleanse and join large sets of data across multiple systems.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have

Strong analytical skills and the ability to review large amounts of data from the warehouse, form hypotheses and draw meaningful patterns and insights;Ability to explain complex concepts and ‘tell a story’ of the data to a variety of stakeholders;Proven experience in SQL, Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud;Experience working with analytics software such as: Google Analytics, BigQuery, Microstrategy, DataStudio, and other BI toolsExperience in applying data driven insights to recommendations in commercial settings;Proven experience reporting on marketing  campaign effectiveness and optimisation
