How you’ll make an impact

This role is pivotal in providing support to Finance Business Partners to deliver leading financial, planning and analysis across the business. You will need to develop an understanding of the Xero business environment and insight into its requirements for forecasting, budgeting and performance evaluation. You will build strong relationships throughout the business and communicate analysis and projection of information to many different levels and people throughout the company.

What you’ll do

    • Provide support to Finance Business Partners, working across multiple portfolios to drive faster and better decision making and performance management across Xero
    • Financial Planning and Analysis: Support long-term financial planning processes, providing insights into revenue growth, cost management, and investment decisions
    • Financial Modeling: Create and maintain financial models to assess potential scenarios, risks, and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making
    • Capital Allocation: Support the evaluation and optimization of capital allocation strategies,
    • includinginvestmentinnewinitiatives,acquisitions,andcapitalexpenditures
    • StakeholderEngagement:Collaboratewithcross-functionalteams,providingfinancialinsights and guidance to support decision-making across the organization
    • Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development and communication of the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
    • Data Insights: Leverage a range of tools and technology to deliver high quality data and insightful reporting across the Finance team and across the wider business that drives visibility ,understanding and commercial outcomes
    • Financial Systems: Provide support for financial systems, including assistance with design to meet business needs, routine and ad hoc administration and maintenance, training and model security and integrity
    • Develop best in class system reporting, queries and enhancements
    • Assist with building commercial skills across the business, understand strategic direction and help to highlight potential areas of risk or value
    • Actively contribute to and provide support for projects/initiatives undertaken by the business and by the FP&A team

What you’ll bring with you - Experience

    • Demonstrable professional and relevant experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • Master's degree or professional certifications(e.g., CFA)is a plus.
    • Experience in investment banking, private equity or high growth technology/SaaS business would be a bonus
    • Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
