How you’ll make an impact:

Our Digital Asset Content Manager role has been created to above all bring governance and strategic management of assets held in our Xero Digital Asset Management platform, DAM.

As a Digital Asset Content Manager you will be the conduit between asset creators, asset users and key stakeholders and be responsible for the overall strategic and operational management of assets within the DAM by utilising the DAM Content Framework and constantly reviewing and challenging this and the Operational Model supporting the DAM.   

Key to the success of this role will be the ability to apply a robust content strategy and tactical management plan to our assets. With attention to detail, you will work with a range of stakeholders and users that will require coordination to ensure the DAM content is consistently meeting the needs of our users, is accessible, is maintained and well managed at all times. Everyday, you lean in to your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with those stakeholders and key user groups, understanding their workflows, technical requirements and needs.

What you'll do:

    • Actively manage, review and continually refine our DAM Content Strategy
    • Support all asset workflows for external and internal stakeholders by moderating assets, optimising metadata for search and ensuring all assets meet compliance requirements
    • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Operations Manager to manage platform and user engagement reporting
    • Manage and review user and user group access, ensuring best practice and keeping to our current platform subscription thresholds
    • Use reporting generated from the DAM platform, review how assets are being treated, look at what the results are, and identify opportunities and issues around usage, lending insights to challenging existing strategy, and supporting operations
    • Bulk asset management including tags, platform automation, share links and archiving
    • Manage platform structure and taxonomy for asset management, including tags and custom fields
    • Maintenance of asset expiry on platform
    • Ownership of overall content in the DAM, ensuring the platform being optimised for finding and using assets across the business, including the accuracy of asset metadata and duplication
    • Training and support for the DAM, including responding the the day to day support queriesUnderstanding of our marketing  platform ecosystem ie how the DAM interacts with tools and processes such as design and website and facilitate automation of content workflows where appropriate

What you'll bring:

    • 3+ years work experience, preferably in an Operations role
    • Experience within the Asset Lifecycle Management space
    • Experience within creative studio teams to understand roles, workflows and creative assets
    • Demonstrated stakeholder management across multiple team levels
    • Experience with leading  or supporting integration with BI tools and / or creative platforms
    • Strong project management and communication skills
    • Intermediate competency in Excel or Google Sheets
    • The ability to build good working relationships with a wide range of people
