About the Job
As a Revenue Operations Analyst in Syft’s team, you’ll play a key role in supporting revenue growth and operational excellence across Syft’s portfolio of customers, touching on all aspects of the revenue management process and supporting Syft’s strategic objectives. You’ll work closely with the Head of Revenue Operations to provide actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making.
You will be responsible for ensuring revenue process excellence and monitoring business performance for reporting to key stakeholders. You will assist with KPI tracking and identifying trends that require action. Ultimately, you will play a role in supporting the operational efficiency of Syft’s and Xero’s business.

This role is a full time, in-office position in Johannesburg, South Africa.

What you'll do

    • Work cross-functionally with customer success, sales and business operations to share insights and centralize information.
    • Manage customer billing to ensure customers are invoiced correctly, collections are efficient and discounts are applied appropriately.
    • Proactively manage data administration to improve data quality, analysis and reporting. Build exception reports to help manage this.
    • Be an integral part of managing our data integrity, which ensures we report accurately to our stakeholders in the business.
    • Report weekly on revenue performance across each of our key regions.
    • Perform ad-hoc analysis of various data points in the business to inform sales and efficiency strategies.
    • Track various KPIs across our business and play an integral part of commission calculations.

What you'll bring with you

    • Strong commercial acumen and a passion for driving business outcomes through data.
    • Ability to work well within cross-functional team.
    • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Exceptional spreadsheet skills.
    • Agility to move between competing priorities.
    • Owing to the global nature of our business, willingness to work abnormal working hours if required.
    • Chartered Accountant (SA)
    • 3 years post graduate experience in commercial analysis, revenue operations, or similar roles.
    • Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation tools beneficial, but not required.
    • Previous experience in SaaS or fintech preferred, but not required.
    • Familiarity with product, marketing, or GTM operations beneficial.
