About the role:
- The Group Product Manager is a leader in the Payroll Division - where we are focused on freeing up SBs time by making it simple to manage and pay people.
- You will lead a team of product managers across our employee experience and expenses products
- You will collaborate closely with design, product, product marketing and engineering to develop and execute on a strategic vision and roadmap
- You will coach team members and elevate product management capability in your team and the wider division

How you'll make an impact:
As a Group Product Manager you will be responsible for excellence in driving customer and business value through the ownership of new and existing products. Youʼll lead a product area of moderate complexity, ambiguity, and/or dependencies and stakeholder engagement, where team leadership of established product leaders is a significant part of the role.

You will support and enable your team to do the best work of their lives through practising the great people leader framework. You will manage product teams end-to-end, from early-stage research and ideation, through to implementation and improvement over time. Your impact will be measured by your achievement of key commercial and customer success metrics through your management of people and teams.

Other skills and experience you'll bring with you:

    • Strong experience with agile processes in a software development environment 
    • Demonstrated experience collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups to realise customer / commercial outcomes
    • Solid track record of addressing customer needs through innovative use of technology
    • Effectively influenced outcomes at all levels in a variety of contexts
    • Experience shaping successful product roadmaps and long term planning across multiple or complex products
    • Experience within industry sectors relevant to Xero
    • Significant people leadership experience, with the ability to successfully motivate individuals and teams and develop individuals capabilities. 
    • Extensive experience in managing product teams,  leading cross-functional resources and fostering an open, collaborative team environment
