HR Generalist

X-Mode strives to produce and monetize the world’s largest location platform and ultimately create a global “living map” of 1 billion people with the highest quality location data in order to fuel the best location intelligence business solutions.

X-Mode is looking for a full-time HR Generalist to administer HR processes, policies, and procedures to foster a positive work environment. The candidate will provide support and advice with regard to recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices for the organization.


    • Implement and administer employee policies, programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with strategic goals of the company
    • Offer proactive recruiting assistance
    • Establish an in-house employee training system (training needs assessment, new employee orientation or onboarding, and management development)
    • Implement a performance management system that includes performance development plans (PDPs) and employee development programs
    • Monitor company wage and salary structure
    • Provide payroll processing backup support
    • Provide day-to-day benefits administration services
    • Develop and schedule benefits orientations and other benefits training
    • Protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company HR policies and governmental laws and regulations
    • Carry out a company-wide process of organization development (succession planning, workforce development, employee retention, organization design, and change management)
    • Monitor work culture


    • 3+ years experience in HR
    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organization Development or equivalent
    • Thorough understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
    • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other HR programs
    • Extensive knowledge of hiring processes
    • Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office, must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping)
    • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Effective written and oral communication
    • Superb interpersonal and coaching skills
