The Xsolla AFS team is looking for a QA Engineer who is detail-oriented, collaborative, open to feedback, adaptable, committed to continuous learning, and solutions-focused. Strong communication skills and technical expertise are essential, along with experience with autotesting. The ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and balance team collaboration with individual accountability will be key to your success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborating in the design and planning phases to ensure testability and quality.
    • Designing comprehensive test scenarios to validate product functionality.
    • Writing and executing functional and integration tests to ensure system reliability.
    • Automating testing procedures to streamline and enhance test efficiency.
    • Identifying and selecting the most suitable testing tools and methodologies for the project needs.

REQUIREMENTS

    • At least 3 years of experience in software testing, utilizing various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, performance).
    • Ability to create comprehensive and clear test documentation.
    • Hands-on experience with continuous integration (CI) systems to streamline development and testing workflows.
    • Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git) for efficient code management and collaboration.
    • Strong understanding of automated testing principles and best practices.
    • Experience with gRPC and REST APIs for integration and communication between services.
    • Deep familiarity with microservice architecture and its implementation challenges.
    • Solid database knowledge, including proficiency in SQL for effective data validation and querying.
    • Additional expertise in test automation frameworks and command-line tools in UNIX-like operating systems is a plus, along with basic knowledge of JavaScript.
    • Proficient in both spoken and written English, with strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

NICE TO HAVE

    • Strong expertise in managing and deploying applications using Kubernetes.
    • Practical experience with Playwright for automating and testing web applications across different browsers.
