As the VP of Architecture, you will be responsible for the overall architectural direction of the organization. You will design and implement effective solutions that meet current and future business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architectural Leadership: Define and implement the overall architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Design Oversight: Lead the design of high-level architecture and detailed specifications for complex systems and applications.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends; evaluate and recommend technologies that enhance business capabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet organizational needs.
- Standards Development: Establish best practices and guidelines for architecture and development processes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with architectural decisions and technology implementations.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in software architecture and design, with a strong track record of leadership.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages, frameworks, and architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, cloud computing).
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and best practices in system architecture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
