ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale Xsolla’s Offerwall product — a monetization solution powering quest-based campaigns for global game developers.
You bring deep experience in backend development (preferably Go), strong familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture, and a track record of operating systems at scale. You’re excited about building a system that provides gamers in-game offers and enables publishers to drive player engagement.
ABOUT THE OFFERWALL TEAM
The Offerwall team builds a performant, flexible rewards engine that delivers incentivized campaigns through frontends and APIs. The service is part of Xsolla’s broader Quest Platform.
Tech stack: Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, ClickHouse, BigQuery, Kubernetes
Nice to know: Temporal, integration with MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Impact) and general experience in AdTech domain is a big plus
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services for Offerewall product
- Scale the Offerwall services to handle high-traffic scenarios
- Implement integrations with external and internal systems
- Work with Temporal for orchestrating quest workflows
- Own services in production, including instrumentation, monitoring, and incident response
- Collaborate with engineering teams, frontend, product, and design to ship features end-to-end
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Go or similar backend language (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Python)
- Experience with scalable, distributed systems and working with a high-scale production environments
- Proficient in PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ and Kafka
- Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and observability (Datadog, OpenTelemetry)
- Understanding of caching strategies, CDC, API design, security best practices
- Comfortable with CI/CD pipeline and writing unit and integration tests
- Experience with Temporal or similar orchestration systems
- Familiarity with gamification mechanics (ads, rewards)
- Prior work in AdTech domain and gaming domain
