RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market Strategy and Planning
- Conduct an in-depth analysis of the game market in the Greater China region, especially the overseas expansion demands, competitive landscape and trends of independent developers, medium-sized studios and large game companies.
- Formulate and implement the annual/quarterly GTM plan for the Greater China region, clearly defining the target market, customer segments, value proposition and key information.
- Collaborate with the global product marketing team to ensure the localization of global product information and make customized adjustments for the Chinese market.
- Sales support and channel Empowerment
- Provide strong support to the sales team, including creating sales tools, competitive intelligence, product manuals and customer presentation materials.
- Identify and cultivate key customers and strategic partners, and work with the sales team to complete the closed loop from business opportunities to deals.
- Sales cycle acceleration: Be responsible for creating and managing a reusable "case library" and "evidence library", collecting and extracting successful customer cases, technical white papers and product benchmark test data from both global and local sources, enabling the sales team to respond quickly to customer concerns and effectively shorten the sales cycle.
- Systematic training and knowledge management: Design and implement regular, data-driven training programs to ensure that the sales team is always informed of the latest product trends, market information, and competitive situations. Establish and maintain an internal knowledge management system as the sole source of facts for market information. Provide product and market training to the sales team and channel partners to ensure they can accurately convey the value of Xsolla.
- Data Analysis and Optimization
- Sales Performance Dashboard: Establish and maintain a sales performance dashboard for the Greater China region to monitor key indicators in real time, such as market penetration rate, lead conversion funnel, customer acquisition cost, customer lifetime value, and changes in market share.
- Market insight-driven decision-making: Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing activity data, sales funnel data, and customer usage data to form actionable insights. Regularly produce analysis reports to evaluate the return on investment of sales strategies and provide decision-making basis for product roadmaps, market positioning and resource allocation.
- Closed-loop feedback system: Establish a closed-loop feedback mechanism from the sales front line to product marketing. Systematically collect, analyze and convey the "first-hand voices" from customers and the market to drive product optimization, service improvement and the iteration of market information.
- Experimental and optimization culture: Design and execute A/B tests, continuously optimize the entire process from lead generation to transaction, including landing pages, marketing content, sales pitches, etc., to drive growth with data
- Customer Lifecycle Management
- Post-launch tracking and value deepening: After new customers successfully launch the Xsolla product, conduct follow-up visits to collect success stories and usage feedback. Analyze customer usage data, identify opportunity points for "value-added sales" and "cross-selling", and collaborate with customer success and sales teams to jointly explore the lifetime value of customers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Essential conditions:
- Bachelor's degree or above, with over 5 years of working experience in marketing, product marketing or strategy-related fields in B2B technology companies, game companies or consulting firms.
- Have a deep passion and understanding of the gaming industry, and have a profound comprehension of the business models, work processes, and challenges faced by Chinese game developers during their overseas expansion (such as payment, taxation, compliance, user acquisition, etc.).
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English, capable of writing persuasive marketing content and giving professional public speeches.
- Possess strong strategic thinking ability and data-driven decision-making ability.Self-motivated, capable of working independently in a rapidly changing global environment and possessing outstanding project management skills.
- Priority considerations
- Have relevant experience in directly serving game developers or helping Chinese technology products go global.
- With rich and successful experience in social media operation and content marketing.
- Have successful cases of closely collaborating with the sales team to jointly drive revenue growth.
- Familiar with the product ecosystem of Xsolla or similar game service providers (such as Unity, AppLovin, TapNation, etc.).
