Xsolla KL is looking for a Back-end Developer (Middle/Senior Level) under Xsolla Rewards Team.
Rewards is the ultimate community engagement solution for game developers and publishers. It enables developers and publishers to collaborate with influencers, celebrities and production companies to release and distribute different types of items to the target audience. It allows boosting community engagement as well as to generate more revenue and acquire new players. Rewards supports all forms of digital items, from virtual currencies, skins, and NTFs to premium subscriptions.
OUR TECH STACK:
Backend: Go
Frontend: React + webpack (planning to do the FE redesign on Next.js)
Database: MySQL + Redis + RabbitMQ
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain and scale Rewards microservices architecture
- Contributing to technical documentation for the product in Confluence
- Collaborate with product team members
- Take operational responsibility for the product functionality
- Be passionate about user experience and product delivery
- Write testable code, unit and integration tests
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in team development
- Solid experience in working with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Have solid experience in 1 or more programming languages such as Javascript, Python, Ruby, C++, PHP or etc. But you are willing to work on Go.
- Understanding decomposition principles, OOP and patterns
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
- Smart, friendly team player, and you enjoy working with others to pursue a common goal
- Readiness to work in an English-speaking environment
- Ability to work and be flexible in a fast pace environment
NICE TO HAVE
- Good understanding of traffic, server and database scaling
- Experience with research and solving tough challenges
- Worked with continuous integration and deployment systems: Docker, Capistrano, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform technologies (CloudSQL, PubSub and Cloud Run) or with any other cloud provider
- Experience of developing CI/CD pipelines including infrastructure for integration tests
- Expert knowledge interacting and developing RESTful APIs and microservice architecture
- Experience working with Agile SCRUM based teams
