We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with 5+ years of progressive experience to manage comprehensive HR operations with a strong focus on labor relations and employment dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will ensure legal compliance, foster positive employee relations, and contribute to organizational success through effective HR practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • **Core HR Operations:**  
    • Administer compensation & benefits programs, payroll coordination, and HR analytics reporting
    • Develop/update HR policies in compliance with local labor laws and regulations  
    • Conduct employee training sessions on HR policies, compliance, and workplace ethics  
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data management  
    • Other general HR tasks

    • **Labor Relations & Dispute Resolution:**  
    • Serve as primary contact for labor relations matters 
    • Investigate and resolve complex employee grievances and workplace conflicts  
    • Manage employment litigation processes including document preparation, evidence collection, and court representation coordination 
    • Advise management on labor law compliance and risk mitigation strategies 
    • Collaborate with legal counsel on employment-related lawsuits and mediation proceedings  

    • **Employee Relations:**  
    • Provide guidance on employee relations issues including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans  
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends 
    • Promote positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives  

REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field  
    • 5+ years of proven HR generalist experience with minimum 2 years in labor relations  
    • Expert knowledge of Malaysia labor laws, employment regulations, and dispute resolution procedures  
    • Successful track record in handling employment litigation cases  
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems- Strong mediation and negotiation skills  
    • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in Malay & English
