ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Technical Lead, Monetization Engineering who is ambitious, technically skilled, and passionate about mentoring engineers and delivering impactful products. You thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and enjoy designing scalable solutions that power in-game monetization experiences like In-Game Store, Subscriptions, and Buy Button
You bring deep expertise in backend or full-stack development (using PHP, Go, Node.js, or React), a strong architectural mindset, and a commitment to building high-performance systems. You lead by example, drive engineering best practices, and ensure your team delivers quality solutions aligned with product goals.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering growth, technical excellence, and ownership
- Design and develop robust, scalable services to support new and existing monetization features
- Participate in architectural discussions and influence system design
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and other engineering teams
- Own and improve delivery processes, ensuring timely, high-quality product releases
- Conduct code reviews, uphold engineering standards, and promote testability and automation
- Contribute to product roadmap planning with a strategic technical lens
- Champion performance, reliability, and maintainability improvements across services
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in software development using PHP, Go, Node.js, or React
- Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams and shipping production systems
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and system decomposition
- Deep understanding of OOP, design patterns, and writing testable, maintainable code
- Proficiency in SQL, relational database design, and OLTP/OLAP system principles
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Hands-on experience writing unit, functional, and integration tests
- Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience with high-load, distributed systems or event-driven architectures
- Understanding of application architecture patterns and when to apply them effectively
- Passion for games and/or experience in the video game industry
