We are on the lookout for a VP of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our expanding finance team. In this pivotal role, you'll lead our FP&A team and help shape the company's strategic direction through expert analysis and business collaboration. We need a driven individual with excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of presenting the company's narrative to executives, the board, and strategic partners. You will report directly to the CFO and will be actively involved in strategic business discussions.

Responsibilities
- Work with CFO on all financial matters, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, banking and corporate development
- Responsible for collaborating with department heads to prepare and consolidate budgets
- Responsible for developing and updating a detailed monthly financial model utilizing a bottom-up methodology and key inputs from senior management
- Responsible for the company's P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow timely reporting and forecast, in compliance with US GAAP guidelines.
- Responsible for creating agile financial plans that account for multiple scenarios
- Responsible for implementing FP&A protocols to drive quality assurance in accounting and improve budget accuracy
- Help analyze key business metrics that enable senior management to evaluate financial performance
- Help conduct financial analysis on prospective greenfield locations and acquisition targets
- Help prepare quarterly reporting packages for board members, investors and lenders.
- Focus on driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Establish, track, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and unit economics.
- Prepare and oversee long-term strategic planning models.
- Create presentation materials for executives, the Board of Directors, and investors with a compelling narrative.
- Analyze macro trends and growth drivers to enhance scalability and sustainability across studio operations and subscription services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics or finance; MBA preferred
- 13 + years of accounting/financial analysis experience
- Proficient knowledge of GAAP accounting and corporate finance concepts
- Proficient in Google Sheet, Excel and financial systems (Netsuite and Anaplan)
- Strong financial modeling skills (ability to build clean and efficient models)
- Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
- Proven experience of leadership roles in Finance and Accounting
- Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing business objectives.
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and presentation skills; adept at working with senior executives.
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications.
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of leading through change.
- Experience in building and managing teams.
- Background in both public and private companies.
