We’re seeking an Office Manager to join us at Xsolla! This is a full-time position starting November 1, 2024, and lasting until Mid Spring in our Los Angeles office.
Overview: Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, managing mail and deliveries, handling groceries, ordering office supplies, scheduling catering, tidying and organizing the workspace, liaising with vendors for general office repairs or improvements (including some tech support), planning events, assisting with onboarding and offboarding, greeting candidates, giving office tours, and performing various day porter duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the office runs smoothly by maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
- Keep office inventory stocked by replenishing supplies.
- Lead the food and beverage program by ordering appealing options for employees.
- Collaborate with the events team to support both internal and external events.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including computer setup and addressing training questions.
- Manage storage, office supplies, and headcount of everything.
- Communicate with vendors for company events.
- Follow budgeting procedures and track expenditures in line with the accounting department’s guidelines.
- Handle mail and shipping for office communications.
- Assist with building safety training, injury prevention plans, and other OSHA-related tasks.
- Support other departments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of office management and IT help desk procedures.
- Ability to align with the company culture while fostering a sense of pride, ownership, and teamwork with the HR and Operations teams.
- Passionate about customer service and committed to going the extra mile.
- General knowledge of Human Resources, with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Team player with a consistently positive attitude, willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
- Mature, trustworthy, proactive, self-motivated, reliable, adaptable, conscientious, and courteous.
- Highly organized with the ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and provide follow-up and feedback on requests and business issues.
- Innovative thinker capable of seeing the big picture and thinking outside the box.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to produce quality work while paying attention to detail.
- Positivity, cheerfulness, creativity, proactivity, and resourcefulness are essential.
$26 - $33.65 an hour
This is a full time position working up to 40 hours a week with full benefits.
