Xsolla is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Motion Design Director to join our creative team. In this pivotal role, the Motion Design Director will lead our exceptionally talented and diverse team of motion designers, guiding them through various tasks and projects.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive the development of visually captivating and innovative motion graphics and animations for our promotional videos, marketing campaigns, and a wide range of digital content. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of design principles, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, exhibit exceptional team and time management skills, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage the creative direction of our motion design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and engaging motion graphics and animations that align with brand guidelines and project objectives
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute creative concepts and strategies for various campaigns and initiatives
- Provide respectful leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the motion design team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Review and approve all motion design deliverables, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to established standards and best practices
- Track and monitor project timelines and resources, managing priorities and workflow while maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency
- Remain up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies, incorporating them into our motion design projects and processes as appropriate
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of proven experience in motion design, including 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a creative agency or similar setting.
- Agency experience
- Demonstrable expertise in industry-standard design tools, including After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in Cinema 4D, Blender or ZBrush
- Strong understanding of design principles, composition, typography, and colour theory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale to team members and stakeholders alike
- Full working proficiency in English is absolutely required
GOOD TO HAVE
- Passion for video games and understanding of the industry
- Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
