We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Anaplan Model Builder to join our team! In this exciting position, you will have the chance to design, develop, and maintain complex Anaplan models that support our financial, operational, and strategic planning efforts. Responsibilities
- Model Building:
- Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis.
- Translate business requirements into functional and scalable models using Anaplan’s modeling tools.
- Ensure model accuracy and integrity through testing and validation of data and calculations.
- Data Integration and Management:
- Integrate Anaplan with other data sources and systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) to ensure accurate data flow.
- Develop and maintain data imports, transformations, and exports to/from Anaplan.
- Manage and update model data on a regular basis to support ongoing planning cycles.
- Process Optimization:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within Anaplan.
- Optimize existing models for performance, scalability, and ease of use.
- Document model structures, processes, and best practices for future reference.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively use Anaplan models.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to model functionality and data accuracy.
- Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation to support Anaplan adoption across the organization.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to align Anaplan models with business objectives.
- Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to enhance model functionality and reporting capabilities.
- Participate in planning and strategy sessions to ensure Anaplan models are aligned with business goals.
Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, CFA, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, data analysis, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Anaplan is required; Anaplan Certified Model Builder certification is preferred.
- Experience with Excel, SQL, and other data management tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Netsuite, Salesforce) is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
