ABOUT THIS ROLE:
We are looking for a QA Engineer (Middle Level) under Xsolla Drops Team.
Drops is the ultimate community engagement solution for game developers and publishers. It enables developers and publishers to collaborate with influencers, celebrities and production companies to release and distribute different types of items to the target audience. It allows boosting community engagement as well as to generate more revenue and acquire new players. Drops supports all forms of digital items, from virtual currencies, skins, and NFTs to premium subscriptions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web applications
- Perform manual testing where it’s necessary
- Develop solutions that speed up and simplify the testing process
- Perform security and performance testing of web applications
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects
- Develop and maintain a testing environment that simulates production environments
- Develop and maintain test scripts to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Contributing to technical documentation for the product in Confluence
- Take operational responsibility for the product functionality
- Be passionate about user experience and product delivery
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in web applications
- Knowledge of testing theory
- Understanding of the development life cycle and software testing processes
- Strong knowledge of HTTP, understanding of microservice architecture
- Experience in writing simple SQL queries (no more complicated than JOIN)
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
- Willingness to understand new technologies and subject areas
- Smart, friendly team player, and you enjoy working with others to pursue a common goal
- English level B2 and higher
- Readiness to work in an English-speaking environment
- Ability to work and be flexible in a fast pace environment
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with research and solving tough challenges
- Experience of developing CI/CD pipelines including infrastructure for integration tests
- Experience working with Agile SCRUM based teams
