THE OPPORTUNITY: 
As one of Yaguara’s first eCommerce Strategist, you’ll be at the forefront of a rapidly growing SaaS company that helps leading e-commerce and direct to consumer brands like Glossier, Urbanstems, and Daily Harvest set goals and manage their business. With strong product-market fit, and the recent investment backing from top tier investors, now is the time to join Yaguara in a key role to shape and influence Yaguara’s client strategy team. Specifically, you will be working hand-in-hand with eCommerce companies to help them make sense of their data, coach them on the best goals and OKRs to set, and the easiest way to measure their growth. Your role by default will be cross-functional; helping sales teams close customers, assisting existing customers on an on-going capacity, and giving feedback to our product team to improve Yaguara’s platform. You must be an organized, energetic, motivated, metrics-driven, and detail-oriented mentor who is accomplished and passionate about helping eCommerce teams. Your dedication to strategically guiding direct-to-consumer brands will ensure that Yaguara remains “sticky” throughout their customer lifecycle and helps them utilize all our platform has to offer.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a Client Strategist with either a history of leadership at a direct-to-consumer brand or operating at a top-tier consulting firm. You will have executive experience in the entire DNVB eCommerce stack with a passion in one area; ideally, in marketing (acquisition, retention, etc), data or operations. You occupy a combination of left brain and right brain attributes allowing you to be client-facing while being dangerous enough to speak about the data their businesses create. Your main role will be to new and existing Yaguara customers structure their objectives around key growth goals to ultimately help their eCommerce companies to be as successful as they can be.

The Skill Set

    • BS/BA 
    • 6+ years of direct-to-consumer / eCommerce experience
    • Demonstrated ability lead projects end-to-end on a cross-functional basis
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
    • Must be data driven and results oriented with an eye for detail
    • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to coach executives
    • Must be able to thrive in a very fast paced and evolving environment
    • Excellent presentation and listening skills, along with written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
    • A student of eCommerce; endless curiosity for the DTC space and its shifting landscape.
    • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to grow business
    • High energy and a positive attitude a must
