About The Role:

Reporting into a highly experienced Finance Director, this is a fantastic opportunity for a progressive accountant to join our Finance team. We are looking for a financial controller to ensure our accounts are produced accurately and to the required timescales, as well as ensuring that obligations are met.
You will be someone who enjoys creating order and making improvements. You will be the key contact at YLD for all of our core finance activities. Furthermore, you will assist in shaping our finance strategy.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will look like this:

    • Ownership of the day-to-day finance function
    • Preparation and review of consolidated monthly management accounts with analysis and commentaries
    • Tax work including R&D, VAT, PAYE
    • Statutory reporting
    • Implement controls and processes and apply best practice
    • Liaise with auditors/ HMRC/ advisors
    • Prepare Budgets and Forecast
    • Provide assistance to department heads

What you should have:

    • Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
    • Experience of working within technology or consulting is advantageous
    • Managerial / supervisory experience
    • Xero experience is advantageous
    • A genuine believer in diversity, equality, and fairness
