We are seeking a skilled JavaScript software developer to join our team. You will design and implement new features for our client-side eCommerce optimization engine. This is an opportunity to translate everything you know about browser performance into technology enjoyed by millions of consumers every day.
Your Role
- Design and implement core library APIs and features in JavaScript, prioritizing efficiency and performance to enhance web page speed.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and iterate on designs in an agile environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with existing software when necessary.
Your Experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, with a focus on delivering solutions that function effectively across different browsers and devices.
- Understand the browser’s page rending lifecycle and Core Web Vitals (CWV).
- Experience in JavaScript library and API development, with familiarity in full-stack development, particularly in Ruby or TypeScript.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability in disciplined software development practices, including testing and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, coupled with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
