VDO.AI is a video advertising platform that helps web publishers access the power of video content and advertising, boosting their monetization by up to 50%. Our proprietary technology platform provides the video player, video streaming, video content and video advertising in an end to end offering to some of the biggest publishers on the internet. The aim is to integrate the best advertisers with qualified publishers, to enable a high value video advertising ecosystem to thrive.

As Director of Business Operations, you will oversee our operations in the US and assist all tactical sales and client relationships. You will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and motivating. Managing sellers who are driving revenue through a combination of first class account management and proactive selling of our true end-to-end technology solution that has a global reach, that is accessible across all channels, all devices, and verified with advanced measurement tools powered by data intelligence.

Responsibilities:

Understand VDO.AI's Ad Platform value proposition and work to develop unique offerings addressing our partners’ individual business priorities and marketing needs

Hire, coach, and manage a team of all-star agency & brand sellers

Handle overall US operations including compliances related to US rules and regulations

Leverage your network of personal connections in the relevant advertising industry

Forecasting monthly and quarterly sales

Think strategically to identify sources of growth, profitability and efficiency for the Ad Sales business based on macro-buying trends and seasonal initiatives

Requirements:

15+ years of sales & management experience in the online advertising space

Experience growing a sales team

Regular travel to head office in Vancouver

Ability to deal with various undertakings all the while and to deal with different needs in a relentless situation

Strong communications, organizational and interpersonal skills with an attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced start-up environment
