We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Java to work on a project in the fintech industry.

You will be part of a distributed team developing innovative financial process automation solutions that increase productivity, reduce costs, and ensure organizations meet compliance obligations.

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience taking decisions, proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail. 

● Key contributor to the team in the design, implementation and delivery of high-quality software.

● Contribute to the migration of the system from a monolithic application to a cloud-native, containerized Microservices application.

● Contribute to the team's growth by mentoring more junior team members and sharing your expertise.

● Advocate and contribute to establishing an Agile and DevOps culture in the team.

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge and experience.

● Knowledge and demonstrated ability with Java/JEE programming and SQL Server + JPA2/Hibernate/Spring Boot. 

● Advanced skills in OOP and software design patterns and best practices.

● Solid experience in Microservice Architecture.

● Knowledge of Docker containers.

● Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)

● Solid experience in culture, practices and tools related to Agile and DevOps.

● Test Driven Development (TDD) mindset.

● Experience with Vaadin framework.

● Experience with Java EE Application Servers.

● Experience with MicroProfile.

● Experience with Monolith to Microservices migrations, knowledge of migration patterns.

● Experience with Azure DevOps.

● Experience with Events Driven Architecture (EDA)
