We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to work on different projects through our High-Level Consultancy services.

You will be part of our High Level Consulting  team offering strategic advice and developing new technologies to solve real business problems when dealing with clients across different industries.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and client management skills, who has experience advising clients and making decisions, is  proactive, and with good attention to detail. 

What you will do:

- Leading and providing technical guidance, training and support to the other DevOps Engineers.
- Building and setting up development tools and infrastructure (configuring operating systems, web servers and clouds, etc.) including automating repetitive tasks.
- Implement proposed architecture and delivery pipelines to support it.
- Participate in the cloud architecture design and provide advice.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams of Software Engineers, QA Engineers, IT and business stakeholders to ensure smooth deployments of software.
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes using CI/CD tools including POCs to improve the tooling.
- Managing & configuring version control systems, in particular, Git and associated workflows.
- Providing technical support to Software & QA Engineers on tools and build infrastructure.
- Setup, maintain and improve security, monitoring, alerting, tracing, logging systems and disaster recovery in areas relevant to DevOps in collaboration with IT.
- Perform deployments to production servers.
- Collaborate in non-functional requirements definition and implementation.

What you will bring:

- Bachelor's degree or comparable knowledge and experience. Relevant certifications are a plus!
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role in an agile development environment.
- Strong experience with Build and Release. Azure DevOps knowledge is required.
- Solid experience using AWS CloudFormation, SAM, CDK and Terraform.
- Good knowledge of containers and container management, especially ECS in AWS.
- Strong experience with at least one build and deployment automation platform.
- Experience of deploying applications (e.g. monoliths, microservices, serverless).
- Experience in automation using various scripting languages.
- Experience in application monitoring in container environments with some tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor (container insights), AWS CloudWatch, ELK…
- Good understanding of
- at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java).
- systems administration (e.g. Windows Server, Linux, other operating systems).
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Great stakeholder management skills especially with clients. 
- Great communication skills in English.
- Experience with strategic decision making and advising clients.
 
Nice to have:

-EMR Experience. 
-Strong experience with Databricks.
