We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on a project in the financial industry.

You will be part of a distributed team developing new technologies to solve real business problems, delivering exceptional technical application support, and proficiently managing cloud infrastructure for live customer environments.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail.
What you will do:
- Help build the true DevOps culture by implementing the DevOps strategy of the company.
- Support operations teams, provide training and mentoring for them to embrace DevOps culture, and fill the gaps where needed.
- Encourage proactivity among teams and ensure the right procedures are followed.
- Support, troubleshoot, and investigate issues and incidents (system metrics analysis, logs, traffic, configuration, deployment changes, etc) to ensure the customers receive the best quality service and support in an efficient, knowledgeable, and timely manner.
- Support and improve monitoring/alerting systems (Searching, testing, deploying new functionality for existing tools).
- Create new features for automating troubleshooting and investigation processes.
- Support deployments, rollbacks, application verification, testing, and production tasks.
- Drive new initiatives based on best practices, customer feedback, and personal observation.
- Ensure adherence to company policies at all times.
- Nurture DevOps mindset across the teams.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
What you will bring:
- 8+ Experience as a DevOps Engineer in Enterprise or SaaS companies.
- Experience with Terraform infrastructure as a code tool.
- Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Experience with Azure and AWS cloud.
- Experience with software rollbacks based on metrics.
- Experience with SLI’s and SLO’s.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis reporting.
- Experience in cultural transitions from Operations + Development teams to a real DevOps mindset.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
Nice to have:
- Cloud security knowledge and experience implementing DevSecOps.
- Cost optimization experience in cloud environments.
- Azure Container Apps and Jobs.
- Azure Monitor and Grafana.
- AWS EC2 and Networking.
- Knowledge of Java programming language.
- Powershell experience.
