Position Overview:
Zededa is seeking a leader for our Technical Marketing Engineer team Manager. This role will lead and guide the technical marketing engineering team to support Solution Engineers, the Marketing Team, and the Product Team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business success. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for driving innovation in the edge computing space.

TME Mission As Technical Marketing Engineers, we are dedicated to enabling success across the organization by supporting Solution Engineers with product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs), providing technical insights to the Marketing Team, and contributing to product enhancement initiatives. We strive to ensure the seamless integration and optimization of Zededa's edge computing solutions for our customers and partners. Our ultimate goal is to drive market growth, foster strategic partnerships, and position Zededa as a leader in the edge computing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and mentor a team of Technical Marketing Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
    • Set clear objectives, expectations, and performance goals for the team and monitor progress toward achieving them.
    • Collaborate with Solution Engineers to assist in product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for customers and partners.
    • Provide technical insights and support to the Marketing Team to develop impactful marketing campaigns, content, and collateral.
    • Support the Product Team by providing feedback, insights, and technical expertise to enhance product features and capabilities.
    • Lead hardware certification efforts by working closely with hardware vendors and internal teams to ensure compatibility and optimization of Zededa's edge computing solutions.
    • Facilitate the integration of partner applications with Zededa's platform, including testing, validation, and documentation.
    • Evaluate and compare different technologies and solutions.
    • Provide deployment support to customers and partners, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Proven experience in technical marketing, solution engineering, or a related field.
    • A strong understanding of cloud computing, Linux OS,  networking, open source, and edge computing concepts and technologies is preferred
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Experience with hardware certification, partner integration, performance analysis, and deployment support is preferred.
    • Passion for technology, innovation, and driving customer success.

The base pay range, dependent on your skills, qualifications, experience and location for this role is between $185,000 and $225,000.
