Job Title: Senior FP&A Manager (Must be local to the SF Bay Area)

Position Overview:

As the Senior FP&A Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy of Zededa. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will lead all financial planning and analysis efforts, providing key insights and recommendations that will shape the future of the company. You will be a strategic partner to the executive team, offering data-driven insights to guide decision-making and ensure we achieve our growth and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
    • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate and support key business decisions, including product launches, pricing strategies, margin analysis and go-to-market initiatives.
    • Performance Reporting: support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key trends, variances, and opportunities. Present findings to the executive team. 
    • Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, establish KPIs, and support data-driven decision-making.
    • Revenue & Expense Management: Analyze and monitor revenue trends, customer acquisition costs, and operating expenses. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
    • Scenario Planning & Risk Management: Conduct scenario analyses to assess potential risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
    • Process Optimization: Implement and enhance financial processes and systems to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of financial operations. Implement tools for FP&A function. 
    • M&A & Fundraising Support: Play a key role in supporting potential M&A activities and future fundraising efforts, including due diligence and financial projections.

Qualifications

    • Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS or tech company is strongly preferred.-
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.-
    • Technical Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, etc.).
    • Strategic Mindset: Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights that drive growth and profitability.
    • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.-
    • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, driving performance and fostering a culture of excellence.
    • Adaptability:Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
$175,000 - $200,000 a year
