PLM Coordinator

Zee Aero, a division of Kitty Hawk, is developing revolutionary aircraft concepts, working at the intersection of aerodynamics, advanced manufacturing, and electric propulsion. We are actively building a team of world-class engineers who have experience in fields ranging from power electronics to aerodynamics.

We are looking for a PLM Coordinator to implement and administer Teamcenter PLM including integration and configuration. You will be the super-user and owner of Teamcenter providing expertise, training, and ongoing support to all users.


    • Implementation and administration of Teamcenter PLM
    • Assist with the review, creation, tracking, controlling, approving/rejecting, and maintaining of items, change orders, and documentation
    • Ensure compliance of process for consistent PLM use driving best practices in document control, process and procedures
    • Proactively pursue continuous process improvements on PLM-related processes and ensure processes remain current and relevant
    • Represent the PLM aspect of the manufacturing operation for questions, help, updates and concerns
    • Report on key metrics and performance of processes


    • 5+ years experience with PLM system
    • Teamcenter configuration and customization expertise for:
    • ---BMIDE,
    • ---Active Workspace
    • ---SWIM
    • ---Altium Integration
    • Teamcenter infrastructure architecture knowledge and experience
    • Experience with data migration to Teamcenter
    • Strong analytical, project and process management skills
    • Excellent communication skills including effective oral, written, and presentation
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
    • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
    • An understanding of purchasing, planning, production manufacturing and R&D
    • Thorough understanding of configuration management and document control
    • Ability to work in a small, fast-paced, flexible manufacturing and R&D development environment
    • Able to work with minimum supervision


    • Certificate in configuration management 
    • Experience with Siemens Simatic MES software
    • Proficiency with Google suite of apps preferred
    • Experience with ERP implementation
