Responsibilities

    • Responsible to extract material information from drawing BOM and prepare a detailed MTO
    • with all technical information including material size, grade and specifications. Classify
    • extracted material info into groups to ease the procurement process. Convert the BOM sizes to commercially available sizes and issue a PR to buyer for ordering
    • the materials to vendors/suppliers. Coordinate with buyer for available sizes in market and freeze the cutting plan until material
    • ordering is done and incorporate changes to cutting plans, if required, after material receipt. Will assist in logging the ordered and received materials, tracking changes whenever drawing
    • is revised and immediately incorporating such changes to MTO and cutting plans. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time
    • materials to the production line as and when required, avoiding disruption to production. Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production. Communicate directly or through procurement for supplier material delivery schedules and
    • forecasts to ensure they reflect requirements of the production plan and demands. Manage inventory accuracy and monitor inventory levels against agreed pre-set target levels. Should be aware of commercial and financial implications with a full understanding of how
    • material delays and failure impacts the cost and schedule delays and above all the customer
    • order fulfilment.

Requirements

    • Diploma or Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent
    • EXPERIENCE: 8-10 years
