International Logistics Coordinator

Zeeco is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support international shipments and documentation processes. This role will be responsible for coordinating with freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment execution, as well as compliance with trade regulations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, solutions-driven, and experienced in global logistics operations. 

Job Requirements:

    • Coordinate the shipment of international orders, including ocean, air, and inland transportation. 
    • Prepare and verify export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Origin, and other shipping documents. 
    • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies. 
    • Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and vendors to schedule pickups and negotiate pricing and terms. 
    • Ensure accuracy of purchase orders and shipping details to prevent delays or compliance issues. 
    • Utilize HTSUS and CFR 19 to verify product classifications and ensure regulatory compliance. 
    • Support budgeting and cost tracking for freight and distribution expenses. 
    • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding shipment status, documentation, and logistics processes. 
    • Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure alignment and timely execution of deliveries. 
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve overall supply chain efficiency. 
    • Apply and interpret Incoterms 2020 in international trade transactions. 

Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in export logistics, documentation, and international transportation. 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and SharePoint. 
    • Working knowledge of HTS codes, customs regulations, and international compliance standards. 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working cross-functionally. 
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Familiarity with Incoterms and global shipping practices.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics (Solomon). 
    • Knowledge of free trade agreements (e.g., USMCA, KUFTA,etc). 
    • Familiarity with technical documentation such as MTRs (Material Test Reports) and COCs (Certificates of Conformance). 
    • Previous experience working with freight forwarders, truckers, and international vendors. 

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

    • Must be able to navigate stairs and sit or stand for extended periods. 
    • Ability to operate a computer, phone, and standard office equipment. 
    • Must be able to work extended hours as required to meet deadlines. 
    • Must maintain a professional demeanor and not pose a safety risk to self or others while performing company duties.
