Type: Part- Time Temp Contract. 3 days a week (8 Hours a day)

Compensation: £20 - £30 an hour dependent on experience.

Hi, I’m Anna, CFO at Zen Educate. We’re looking for a Finance Assistant based in our Nottingham office.

We want someone who has great attention to detail who is passionate about delivering the best experience to our educators. Some traits that define success in this role:

- You’re hands-on and love getting into the detail

- You’ve experience working in a finance function for a minimum of 2 years. 

- You seek to improve and automate, not just maintain

- You communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders, including Schools and Candidates. 

Ensuring that our teachers and teaching professionals, who work through our platform, get paid on time and in full. Respond to any related queries. 

Processing payroll amendments each week

Dealing with School invoice queries and processing credit notes. 

Credit control and chasing outstanding debt.

Doing the daily allocation of cash to invoices. 

Helping with month end reporting and reconciliations.

We use Xero as our accounting system. Familiarity with it is helpful but not required — adaptability and a tech-friendly mindset are more important.

A love of Excel is essential!
