Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

ABOUT THE JOB

    • Work closely with account team members to develop and deliver key client deliverables, learning the basics of the clients’ business 
    • Manage the day-to-day admin activities for 1-4 accounts 
    • Monitoring client and competitor media coverage and drafting coverage recaps for the team 
    • Draft media materials, including but not limited to press releases, fact sheets, briefing sheets and pitches 
    • Conduct research to aid in the strategy development process for current clients and new business pitches
    • Participate in brainstorm sessions and program ideation
    • Create and distribute mailers, press kits, and briefing kits

ABOUT YOU

    • The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the ever-changing healthcare realm and will be connected to the pulse of these changes. 
    • Passion for and understanding of public relations and media landscape as it relates to Healthcare
    • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines
    • Must be pro-active and able to operate effectively both independently and within a team
    • Basic understanding of social media platforms
    • MS Office proficiency is a must
    • Familiar with the public relations, marketing, or communications discipline through past coursework, internships, or personal experiences
Pay rate: $18/hour USD
 
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
