About The Role:
Zeno Group is seeking a Vice President with strong Enterprise and/or B2B technology experience for our Silicon Valley office. This role will be critical to driving client programming and ensuring consistent excellence in the quality of work delivered to clients. This person would excel in media relations (online, print and broadcast), building campaigns and utilizing their “friendlies” to secure opportunities.

You’ll develop and drive PR strategies and programs. You must be an expert in the areas of total account management including day-to-day account activity, traditional and emerging technology PR strategies and the provision of sound creative and strategic counsel to clients to support their business objectives.

In this role, you have the opportunity to support and grow existing clients, and also will support in developing and presenting new business opportunities. You must think and do. We are looking for masters of the craft, who are excellent people leaders, client counselors and will roll up their sleeves and stay close to the work.

You will succeed at Zeno if you are fearless, resourceful, tenacious, and bring to the table an expertise in client relations, deep knowledge of traditional strategies, and drive great results while building strong, productive relationships with your clients and your team.

Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive results inclusive of traditional and emerging PR tactics.
    • Curate and deliver client presentations, including new business.
    • Demonstrate writing excellence.
    • Develop and drive PR strategies and programs with a focus on earned media, but an understanding of influencer, digital and experiential tactics.
    • Manage multi-functional teams, priorities, budgets and deadlines.
    • Oversee financial and operational performance of accounts.
    • Provide sound creative and strategic counsel to clients and build credibility with senior level client contacts.
    • Supervise junior staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching and providing consistent feedback. 

Qualifications:

    • At least 10+ years of experience in enterprise and/or B2B technology PR, with agency experience preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • A history of success in providing strategic counsel to clients and building credibility and rapport with senior level client contacts.
    • Expertise across the earned media landscape with the ability to develop effective earned media strategies for our clients that deliver results.
    • Excellent writing skills and strong presentation skills with experience developing and delivering client presentations.
    • Results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, the ability to think on your feet and respond quickly as business factors shift.
    • Demonstrate the ability to think strategically, creatively and holistically about client programs.
    • Proven leadership experience, mentoring and developing junior talent.
    • Have a growth mindset for yourself, your team members and your client work.

$130,000 - $156,000 a year
Pay range: $130,000 to $156,000/year USD
 
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
