About The Role:

Zeno Chicago is looking for an ambitious intern to join our quickly growing ZDX team. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing and a social media native. This position will encompass a wide array of responsibilities -- from creator marketing to social media content and copywriting, to paid digital media reporting and execution. This role will play a key part in some of our biggest clients.

Responsibilities:

    • Commit to exceeding client, industry and personal expectations, and always willing to go the extra mile.
    • Subscribe to, fan and follow leading social media and marketing news sources.
    • Understand the constantly evolving world of social media and reads.

Qualifications:

    • 3-6 months internship experience in digital, public relations or social media marketing preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
    • Collaborative spirit and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, including copywriting for social media.
    • MS Office proficiency is a must. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Must be both proactive and able to operate effectively both independently and within a team.
    • Prior job or internship experience in public relations, in digital or social media marketing. 
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Understanding of digital marketing and passionate about digital, staying abreast of evolving trends and emerging platforms.

Preferences:

    • Experience creating or publishing social media content for a brand or organization.
    • Experience in graphic design.
    • Experience with social media measurement tools.
    • Experience working with social media influencers.
Pay rate: $18/hour USD.
 
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
